Upper Single Incisor Implant

The upper right central incisor had to be extracted due to poor prognosis. The challenge in this case was that the patient had a high smile line, so showed a lot of her gums whilst smiling. Therefore the gum architecture had to be maintained and look natural; often when we lose teeth the soft tissues become less full and can regress. This case involved a combination of bone and soft tissue grafts to ensure the gum around the implant crowns look as natural as possible to fit in with the surrounding gum upon smiling.
