In some cases you may need to have oral surgery, for example if a tooth is badly broken down, a wisdom tooth is impacted or teeth that require removal are in an intimate proximity to the nerves. These more complex removals are dealt with in-house by our oral surgeon who is very skillful, gentle and is very experienced.
The prospect of surgery can be daunting so we explain every step of the process with you including your treatment and pain relief options and welcome any questions you may have. We know that many patients can feel nervous about having teeth removed and are happy to take you through step by step with a gentle, reassuring manner. We can also organise for patients to have conscious sedation to help relax them.
